FSS Sorbitol 70% solution is a polyhydric alcohol derived from sugar alcohols from corn. It commonly used as a humectant and will also help stabilize gels. It consists of the alcohols D-glucitol & D-mannitol. It provides great moisturizing properties as well as thickening, smoothing and conditioning benefits in cosmetic formulations. It is also used in soap applications or its ability to prevent moisture loss. When added to lotions and washes, it can increase thickness. Liquid Sorbitol also helps improve transparency. FSS Sorbitol is a mixture 70% Sorbitol and 30% water.
